Le Mieux Cosmetics readies new beauty tool for its QVC launch.
July 14, 2014

Editor-in-Chief
Le Mieux Cosmetics is rolling out a new ultrasonic handheld device called the Skin Perfecter this month on QVC—and company officials are looking for this multi-tasking DIY beauty tool to do big things when it reaches the small screen. “We are beyond excited,” Janel Luu, CEO of Le Mieux Cosmetics, said about her device’s launch on a network known for taking many beauty brands from obscurity to the major leagues seemingly overnight. “QVC is the leader is direct-to-consumer electronic retailing, and known for providing a platform for innovative brands to showcase their products to countless QVC customers.” According to Luu, the QVC customer knows a good thing when she sees it. And they see it on the channel’s “Tuesday Night Beauty” show. The Skin Perfecter is set to debut on the July 22 show. “The QVC beauty customer is very astute and knows what she wants and needs from her beauty brands. We are excited to bring her this new technology and approach to caring for her skin,” she said. The Skin Perfecter is an ultrasonic, non-invasive, rechargeable beauty tool that combines four skin treatments into one tool that can deep cleanse, exfoliate, extract and infuse serums and other topical treatments for smoother, brighter, perfect-looking skin. Professional-strength ultrasonic waves are said to gently and visibly improve lines and wrinkles, pores, texture, clarity, and smoothness after every treatment. In clinical studies performed over a period of only two weeks, 100% of participants showed an immediate improvement in skin exfoliation; 84% saw improvement in overall skin appearance; 80% saw immediate improvement in brightness; 69% saw an immediate improvement in radiance, luminosity and healthier-looking skin; 65% of participants saw an improvement in the appearance of skin texture and smoothness; and 50% saw an improvement in appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, according to the company. The device has enjoyed some early accolades from the industry; it was a finalist in the tools and at-home devices category in the 2014 International Package Design Awards (IPDA), which were held in June. Luu boasted other benefits of the Skin Perfecter, which retails for $225 online at skinperfector.com and at select spas and salons. For example, unlike other beauty tools the Skin Perfecter is never requires replacement brushes, cartridges or discs. “We are excited to bring her this new technology and approach to caring for skin,” concluded Luu.
